Google Earth, the free 3D globe (2005)

Eight months after buying Keyhole, Google launched Google Earth, a free program for flying over 3D satellite and aerial imagery and searching for places. There were two paid versions: Plus, with GPS support, and Pro, for commercial use.

There is no official image with documented origin for this record yet. The museum prefers showing no image to using one of uncertain origin.
